1979 Facsimile Edition. First published 1901 with a run of 1000 copies. This sold out quickly and a second edition was published in 1909. This facsimile is of the 1909 edition.

Publisher - J. E. Bishop & Co. Facsimile edition published by The Dene Bindery, NSW.
Cover is hard bound in red cloth with gilt stamped title on cover. Top corners bumped, otherwise good condiiton.
No Dust Jacket is present.
End Papers are intact, grey.

This is an important reference work on the development of horse-drawn vehicles in Australia. The 1909 second enlarged edition has an additional 245 original engravings from drawings prepared for The Australasian Coachbuilder and Wheelwright and from photographs supplied by Australian and New Zealan Coachbuilders.
