 Eleanor Dark (1901 - 1985) was an Australian author of historical novels. The best known are her trilogy 'The Timeless Land', 1941; 'Storm of Time', 1948 and 'No Barrier', 1953.

In 'Storm of Time' the author brings to life all the important figures of three Australian governorships, those of Hunter, King and Bligh.
